APG delivered 2100mm diameter bored monopiles up to 37m deep for the Sydney Metro West viaduct, accelerating the foundation programme by approximately six months across multiple concurrent work fronts.
Australian Piling Group (APG) returned to work with FDC Group at the Weatherill Park Business Park, constructing the foundations for a new Coles fulfilment centre.
APG’s scope was the bored piles and pile caps supporting the facility, delivered across a range of diameters to suit the structural design.
Delivering over 500 piles across four diameters called for efficient fleet and crew coordination to maintain output across the site. To meet the facility’s specific structural requirements, the piles were reinforced with a steel-fibre concrete mix, requiring close control of the concrete supply and placement to achieve the specified performance across the full pile schedule.
