The Soilmec SR-65 forms part of APG’s in-house piling rig fleet and is the largest self-erecting rig in the company’s fleet. Operating at 66 tonnes with 260 kNm of torque, it combines high-capacity rotary drilling performance with the efficiency of a self-erecting platform, -enabling rapid mobilisation and setup without the need for a support crane.

Key Specifications
– Maximum Depth: 77 m+
– Maximum Pile Diameter: 1,900 mm (bored and cased), 1,200 mm (CFA)
– Piling Applications: Bored, Cased and CFA
– Operating Weight: 66 tonnes
– Maximum Torque: 260 kNm

Capable of drilling to depths exceeding 77 metres, the SR-65 supports bored, cased and CFA piling across a wide range of foundation applications. It can construct bored and cased piles up to 1,900 mm in diameter and CFA piles up to 1,200 mm, making it well suited to large-scale foundation works requiring deep drilling, high-capacity casing installation and efficient project mobilisation.

The SR-65 is commonly used for bored and CFA piling, temporary and permanent steel casing installation, and foundation works across transport, energy, commercial and marine infrastructure projects. Its combination of drilling performance, self-erecting design and efficient mobilisation makes it well suited to major civil and infrastructure projects where programme and setup time are critical.
