The Soilmec SR-30 forms part of APG’s in-house piling rig fleet, providing a compact and versatile rotary drilling solution for piling, civil and infrastructure projects. Operating at 33 tonnes with 150 kNm of torque, it is well suited to sites where access, ground-bearing capacity or ground conditions limit the use of heavier drilling rigs, while offering increased drilling performance across a wider range of ground conditions.

Key Specifications
– Maximum Depth: 60 m+
– Maximum Pile Diameter: 1,500 mm+
– Piling Applications: Bored and Cased
– Operating Weight: 33 tonnes
– Maximum Torque: 150 kNm

Capable of drilling to depths exceeding 60 metres, the SR-30 supports bored and cased piling applications with pile diameters up to 1,500 mm. Its combination of compact size, drilling depth and increased torque makes it well suited to projects requiring greater rock-drilling capability while maintaining the flexibility to operate on soft ground and piling platforms with limited bearing capacity.

The SR-30 is commonly used for bored piling, temporary and permanent steel casing installation, and foundation works across transmission, infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects. Its self-erecting design allows for efficient mobilisation and transport between project sites.
